That was just one program - others have different mixes - including atheists
and representatives of other religions.
However - I've also heard even people of the same faith not being respectful
of those within the faith who have different opinions. Look at the current
debate about gay clergy in the CofE as just one example.

Stan was reporting fact - that the pastor was being prosecuted - I don't
believe he said he either approved or disapproved.
