The reason you haven't found it is because it is more commonly spelt
either as ANKERWYKE or ANKERWYCKE. Googling on "Ankerwycke" will find
results, including Ankerwycke Priory, a ruined monastery.

It's not an easy spot to place county-wise, since it lies close to
Berkshire, Middlesex and Surrey, though apparently in Bucks. It is
not far from Runnymede and Magna Carta Island.

The parish registers of Wraysbury do exist, according to Phillimore'a
Atlas, and date from 1734 and are at the Bucks RO at Aylesbury.
