I can't remember exactly. I ran several different searches, typicaly I
entered data in the following fields..

Surname
First name
Start date
End date
Selected births
Selected "All Districts"

Then ran the search. The search would find a large number of results so I
hit back intending to change something to narrow the search. When the search
page came up the data I had entered was no longer in the right boxes - it
appeard as if all the data had moved one field eg the surname was in the
first name box, Deaths instead of births was selected, and one of the
districts beginning with A was selected etc). Something like that. I
corrected everything and changed something (perhaps I added an end date?)
and then ran another search. I may have got 20-30 results, hit back and the
data had moved again.

I've not seen it do this before or since so perhaps not worth worrying
about?
