Dual (or more booting) is not generally a problem, just not always
straightforward. I have dual booted Windows NT and Windows 95 (make
sure you install them in the correct order - see MS' website Q155034,
Q136547, Q153762, Q157992) and triple booted Win9x, Linux, and BeOS.
Mixing different versions of Win9x/Me (as the OP may want to) could be
difficult as I think they both have to be on the first hard disk
partition. Maybe if you install them into differently named
directories you will be OK but I would think it would be very easy to
get stuck further along the road.
Dual booting Win 2000 and Win ME as you want to do should be similar
to dual botoing winNt & Win95. Search through usenet archives for
info first though. Also MS probably has some articles on this by now.
