Greetings,

My interest as a professional genealogist is in learning about projects in
which genealogy research has been utilized for medical genetics projects
(studies of heritable disease). Myself I have been involved in projects
studying Tourette Syndrome, Hereditary Thrombosis, Colon Cancer, and others.
I don't know if there is a more appropriate mailing list to talk about such
things but I thought I might find some interested people here. I think the
genealogy-genetics connection is exciting and definitely part of genealogy's
future evolution.
