December 6, 2000- Agenus, Inc. & GeneTree, Inc. today announced continued expansion of their genetic and genealogy Internet based tool-set by releasing their collaborative Y-chromosome Calculator Series Applications. The next-generation of Y-chromosome calculation software will provide Internet-enabled genetic ethnicity reference, geographic ethnicity checks, automated surname correlation, and genealogy contact authorizations fully integrated with the Agenus Family Health History programs.

Y-chromosome Calculator, Release 2.3.1 introduces significant enhancements to Y-chromosome Calculator Series Application database management design as well as important updates to its reporting functionality and security features. Planned enhancements include histogram charting for ethnicity probabilities, informed consent automation, and contact management integration.
