As a response to Orin's comments, which are very much correct, I would like
to ask the list for discussion on another idea. Genealogists are interested
in the past but to be fair to future generations we should prepare and help
them today.
I am co-developer of the GeneCard (www.genetree.com), which has been used by
parents to have immediately available info for their kids such as Picture,
fingerprint and DNA profile (security and privacy guranteed by a system).
However, this card has been used also by people who would like to leave their
DNA information for their children after they pass away. This information is
a valuable source for answers to questions such as "Did I inherit this gene?,
"Am I related to this person?" and so on. Since the interest is growing
exponentially I was curious to hear your comments?
Sorry, if this has already been discussed.
Thanks!
Alexander
