Here is quote from the Cope archives concerning the Y male chromosome match
David Cope had with a Swiss Kozlovsky .
FTDNA told David " Your contact is close, because you matched them perfectly,
so 100% certainty less than 2,000 years. It's a mathematicians DREAM "Still
if David were to find enough Polish surnames with genetic matches that could
be a major clue
It remains to be seen how useful it will be to know that your ancestors
converged somewhere in the last 2000 years. I'm having trouble finding my
ancestors before the last 200 -300 years. I do know of someone with my
mother's rare surname who only this week completed her documentation back to
1270's...Awesome..
