Thanks for the reply. I appreciate it. What I was trying to determine was if
their reasoning was that the DNA in the blood was more useful than DNA
obtained elsewhere (using a cheek swab, for example) . And, if so, why this
would be true. Your answer indicates that their experience is that blood
provides them with better samples to work with than other methods (which is
not the same thing). At least that's the way I'm interpreting it. Does anyone
else on the list have any input here?
