Hi, I am new to the list. I just got my DNA back from Oxford Ancestors and
am surprised and puzzled. This matriline DNA is from my GGrandmother that I
can find no information about except her name. One grandchild said she was
Indian. She lived in Tennessee. The DNA direct maternal descendent is Lara,
very rare in Europe and only found in Africa and West Eurasia. How did she
get to Tennessee? Anybody else out there have Lara as their ancestor?
