I saw this problem a couple of years ago on another list and it turned out to
be that a certain character was being interpreted by AOL as a STRIKETHROUGH.
In that case it was only seen by AOL users on the list. In fact, it was only
seen by those with AOL 4.0 at that time becauxe that was before AOL 5.0 came
out. I was usnig AOL 3.0 and didn't see it. I still have the same old PC and
I'm still using AOL 3.0 and I didn't see it this time either. The person who
complained is using AOL 5.0 and I suspect only those using AOL 4.0, 5.0 and
possibly 6.0 would have seen it.
