You are correct, this is the first time that I have decided to "censor"
someone's messages, and it is not a step I take lightly. There were a number
of reasons (not all of which are obvious to the whole mailing list), and I
believe it for the benefit of Jose and the whole list to handle it my way. I
am working with Jose off-list to help him interpret his DNA report, with the
help of a kind list member who has offered to interpret, and I will summarize
the results when I receive them.
If you are concerned that you are missing something of importance, you can
always ask Jose to send you a personal carbon copy of messages he is sending
to the mailing list. I know it not possible to please all of the people all
of the time -- in fact, I have had members resign because I have not put the
list on FULL moderation. Please be assured that I am acting with good will
towards all, but my decision is not open to discussion, and further messages
will be considered off-topic for the mailing list as a whole. Anyone may
write to me personally, of course.
