Subject: [DNA] Questions for Orin to ask Scott Woodward
Date: Mon, 3 Dec 2001 16:56:31 EST
1) Is BYU still accepting any "special cases" at all?
2) What is the relationship between BYU and Relative Genetics?
3) How does BYU select the markers to be used for its studies (in general,
and Y-chromosome specifically)?
4) How does it determine the mutation rate for the various markers?
5) What do the scores in Allan Gleason's report mean? Why is a score of 3 for
DYS390 (F1 in his chart) considered the same as a score of 1?
