Hi Mary!
I read it too and it didn't seem to have much to do with mutation rates or even
the Neanderthals actually. In fact it didn't seem to have much to do with us
genealogists and the DNA we use with hyper mutation rates - so we can relate to
each other in real time.

I did find it interesting and worth keeping (I save a lot of this stuff). The
entire article which I really need to re-read was actually a synopsis of how and
where we became humans and the DNA conflicts in determining the final result -
Us.
