We've gone in to the "extended phase" on this topic, folks. We've established
that eye color is a trait caused by the interaction of a number of different
genes and the eye color of offspring is not easily predictable from the eye
color of parents. This thread could go on forever if everyone contributes
case examples, but I've already received complaints from busy readers who
subscribed to this list to learn about DNA techniques in genealogy. Eye color
and other physical traits are certainly genetic in origin, but they don't fit
this narrow focus.
