This sort of rubbish should not be posted to this list. This list is for
people with an interest in DNA and genealogy. Sam, go find yourself a more

New Spam Mail from Russia

During the last three days, I have received several e-mails from St.
Petersburg Russia. These letters claim to be from children in the Youth
Palace. One is from a little girl named Petya who claims to have a dog
named Dina who was hit be a car and cannot walk. She wants me to send money
to pay for an operation for the dog.

Another is from a little boy named Maxim Smirnov. He needs money until his
father can find a job.

My girlfriend was very sad and depressed and almost cried when we got the
dog letter. Finally, she recovered enough to say that we should write Petra
back with our own sad story about our two month old baby and we need money.

This mail supposedly from small children is clearly a professional
operation. The dog story is accompanied by six e-mail attachments,
including a photo of the poor dog.

Each letter is accompanied by the bank account number of the bank account
the poor child has set up to receive money to help the poor dog. Both the
little boy and the little girl use the same bank account number.

I assume that millions of these letters are being sent out. I would like to
know how many others have received one. Here is the dog letter. After that
is the letter from the little boy:

Hello!
My name is Maxim. I study well in 4th form. My mother is teacher in school
and farther is engineer. We live like all. Besides school I go to computer
and English circles in Youth Palace of Gatchina. My farther is loser as he
names himself. We live in individual one room flat. The both parents earn
240 $ that is little for a life in Sankt Peterburg. My farther has read
that one year in America a paper of 2 $ was issued and ours believe it may
bring home good luck and money. For this it should be suspended on a
mirror. Send me please such paper, may be it would help my farther to find
better paid job. There is one variant more. Here are currency exchange
points in Sankt Peterburg but there this magic paper costs in 10 times more
expensive. I have not my bank account so I inform the account of the Youth
Palace where I go to English lessons. I hope on help very much.

Maxim Smirnov.
