Each DYS taken singly doesn't help you differentiate very much. It's the
combination of results which gets more and more specific. One analogy might
be picking all the people who have the same area code, say 802. You could
pick all the people in the U.S. who have 8 in the first position, plus all
the people who have 0 in the second position, plus all the people who have a
2 in the third position. That wouldn't be very specific. But if you say they
must have an 8 AND a 0 AND a 2 in that order, you get a more informative
result.
