Subject: [DNA] New AMH Nomenclature
Date: Fri, 15 Mar 2002 18:50:17 +0300

This question may be answered in other ways through the new YCC nomenclature, but I was wondering if anyone can tell me the nomenclature for those close to AMH based on the following:

AMH = Hg 1.15
1 mutation for any of the 6 loci defining AMH = Hg 1.15+
What is it for two mutations out? (my haplotype)

Is there any news on how the new YCC nomenclature is being applied, and can anyone confirm what AMH is called under the new scheme? The best suggestion to date has come from PG who suggests AMH-ers end up at the foot of the table in the "R1B" section. The YCC chart is very colourful and very confusing.

Best regards, Mark
