TO: Ann, Barbara, Crystal, Nancy, Allan, John, Ken, Kevin, Orin, Robert, and
Steven [I hope I mentioned everyone],

Thanks for your candid remarks and informative comments regarding the
questionable, informative posting that I placed on the surname message
boards. Out of the possible thousands of people who read my message
[posted on 3 surname message boards], receiving a non-verbal lashing from
only one [to my knowledge] incongruous individual, isn’t too bad.

My purpose for mentioning the incident was to inform DNA coordinators of my
unpleasant experience. Moreover, this experience has emphasized for me, the
extremely fine line between “the act of attracting public attention to a
product or business [advertising]" and "the act of informing or the
condition of being informed [information]," so sayeth Webster.

This concludes my comments on “Promoting Your Project,” as it is time for me
to get back to my DNA STUDY "business [I wonder if I can take an IRS
deduction? <grin>]" and to continue to gain knowledge from all of you.
Thanks for your commentaries.

regards,
Jim
