Virgil, You are only 3 mutations away from me. One of these
sites is thought to have a higher than average mutation rate
(DYS 439). That makes us both haplogroup 2, in fact 2.47+, said
to be putative Norse as it is common in Norway now. If one
hails from the North of England your ancestors may have been
Vikings, or perhaps just Anglo Saxon if from the south. We are
probably not closely related, perhaps a common ancestor 2 or 3
thousand years ago rather than 40,000 years ago! Nick.
