First Joy - I think you might need to rethink a little
of your thoughts and do a little research yourself
(regardless of your 17 years). There is a
consideration of a couple of factors. The first and
foremost consideration is that not all Sizemores are
related. Quite frankly most/many Natives and Slaves
took on English surnames (and given names for that
matter). Second it is possible on that line that
there was a nonpaternal event even adoption. If the
DNA was performed on the Y chromosome then YES
somewhere up the line there was a male with Native
heritage it would NOT be through the female line.

I also might add that there ARE Sizemore on the Dawes
rolls and Guion Miller rolls. They are Cherokee and
Creek. So it's not without possibility that there ARE
Native Sizemores.

So what if it isn't his line - that doesn't preclude
the fact that his line might be Native also.

And as far as the results not being verified - well I
see nothing wrong with him announcing in his
excitement that he was told that it was. If it turns
out to be not Native then I'm sure he'd also let it be
known.

You seem rather disgruntled with the fact that he
claims to be native? Is he from your direct line?
If not what's it to you that he says he's Native?
