Hello Anne
Just a few thoughts.
Thank you for sharing with us the excepts of your forthcoming book.
I'm sure everyone will find it interesting. I wish you every success.
But ...... do you make any predictions about the future ?
Which, if any, of the things that we doing now, will continue to be done
in, say, 10 or 20 years ?
Might everyone with a Social Security number know their 'complete
mitochondrial DNA sequence' ? - like all blood donors nowadays
know their blood group, and some people their tissue types. This might
allow for everyone to know their maternal roots in the greatest detail.
And, what about Y chromosome markers, will every male know the
value of 100's of markers ? Thus making any man able to judge his
relatedness to every other man.
So, what is the future ........ would anyone like to add their comments ?
