I think Olson was excluding other valid uses from his criticism by the
specificity of his statement. He stated it as, "That's the problem with the
Seven Daughters of Eve business." From the context, he was referring only to
those who sell it to connect to one of the Clan Mothers (and get their
membership certificate from Oxford Ancestors). He also referred to the
business side and not the science side of such tests.
