Speaking of mtDNA...

For Your Interest --- Here are my recent mtDNA results from FTDNA.
HVR1 haplogroup "W" is puzzling to me. Does anyone else have a comment
on it?

My maternal line is P1 gen -CARDEN(Cardin), P2 gen -ADAMS, P3 gen
-MARTIN, P4 gen -GRIMES, P5 gen -JORDAN(Jourdan), P6 gen -WILDER, P7
gen -CULBERTSON(Culverson), P8 gen -SPROUELL(Sprewell). That's as far
back as I can go w/ confidence at this point. [P= parent generation].

I was hoping that others who post here might have at least one of these
maternal lines with similar (or exact) mtDNA haplogroup mutations for
HRV1 & HRV2. So far I've been contacted by one other person (a man)
who has listed his mtDNA results w/ FTDNA as an exact match w/ mine.

Thanks for any input... Martha
