A potential participant asks me the following question.
> If you selected individuals randomly for testing, how many matches would you
> expect to get in the 25 categories?
I do know that a 25/25 match can occur with other surnames because of mutations over time and that an associated surname variation and/or locale is necessary to declare a MRCA. However, that does not appear to be the question.
How should I answer his question?
