them into the database I was accessing and see how many hits I get. I'm a
Helena, and I got 6 hits for my exact haplotype, [16]293. When I plugged in
000
to represent the CRS, there were 500+, with maybe a dozen or so who had
elected
to make their e-mail address visible, so I think I'm just getting the exact
number for myself.

What is plugged into what? For examples my sequences are 16189C, 16356C,
16362C, 16519C....and Macaulay's 1999 database only lists four countries,
while the Estonian database lists a dozen more countries. So what other
database is being used? If there's another database, where is it online if
it's online? Thanks for any clue. The basic stuff won't answer my questions
of how many countries are coming up for my mtDNA. Any new places it has been
lately or prehistorically?
