My Strickland surname was carried on through my great great grandmother who
had her son John Albert Strickland and his brother Jacob out of Wedlock.
She was the oldest daughter of Elias Strickland.

So I wouldn't expect that I would match the Matthew Strickland DNA, if I
did, then there would have been some incest in the family.
