Except that we had a long discussion on this topic on another list and,
apparently, the term Scotch-Irish is correct and referred to the Scots who
moved to North Ireland after the British crown removed the Irish from the
land. This is the Ulster area and this is why they are, still, at war. The
Irish want their land back.
