Hi all,
My great grandfather, John Peart was a Methodist Minister in Australia and
therefore probably in the South Pacific for the London Missionary Society.
My religous grandfather would never talk about his father. Last information
I have (1901 England census online now) is that he was living in Derbyshire
as retired minister of religion with schoolteacher wife and family.
Suspect he lost his faith. Descended from Esther Cain -
I have no letters etc from great grandfathers day and just wonder if Anne's
great grandfather Rev. George Alfred Harris might have mentioned my great
grandfather, who may well have been one of his staff.
Nice to have a Genealogical discussion away from all this technical DNA
stuff isn't it?

Subject: Re: [DNA] Possible AMH Jewish Migrations to England and
Scotland
Hi all, re crypto Jewish migrations, my great grandfather Rev. George Alfred
Harris, said to be descended from Jewish ancestry (i.e. Hirsch) no proof,
was a Congregational Minister who retired in charge of the South Pacific for
the London Missionary Society but he was apparently odd, He did believe and
place a large amount of emphasis on Jesus Christ, in fact he had the natives
of the Cook Islands where he served begin and end their letters In the
precious name of Jesus Christ... just love to hear from anyone with any
more data on this. Anne
