Hi John,
Everything you've said is correct factually, but can be interpreted in
diverse ways -- ever wonder WHY those Old Testament Biblical names became so
popular in Britain and Coloinal America from the late 1500's onward, why a
'Cowan' might be named Israel,
and why so many Protestant Reformers (e.g., John Knox) were so adamantly not
only anti-Catholic, but anti-Spanish, as well? Just might be their
ancestry..... Beth
