>Well, I guess we're on the right track thus far. Following what we suspect to be the family's migration route, we have 3 (so far) descendants of supposedly DIFFERENT lines. Our goals are to prove or disprove (either way) that there was (or wasn't) a common ancestor to these lines.

The key to success is having a goal that can be met by putting the project in motion. The simplest type of goal is that of testing a hypothesis that two persons in the past were (or were not) related.

Darn, there goes my plan! ~grin~
(the efficacy of prayer has not been demonstrated in DNA testing).

In providing the information on my site, which does receives at least a few visitors every day and listing the project with GenForum, as well as having one member of the project spread the word in the UK we're trying to get the word out there.

What you need to do is track down and recruit the people needed to meet your goal, and that's "just" a matter of hard work and/or luck.

THANKS!

Good luck!
