On the DNA Print results page on ftDNA, under the DNA Sequences tab, I
have the following information, then the resulting questions about the
info:

Number 1113 rs1800498

I know the 1113 is the location, but what is the rs number and what does
it mean? Some are long and some are short?

Also then those numbers are followed by the actual sequences, but some
are listed in capital letters, then some in lower case, then more in
caps. What is the difference? At some point there will be brackets
with two letters [A/G] looking something like that. My presumption is
that they expected to find an A and instead found a G. Is this correct?

When ones goes to the Blast engine, is this entire sequence of letters
what one cuts and pastes into the search engine? What about the
bracketed letters? And how does one tell the engine the location - is
it the 1113 or the rs number?
