Announcing the New BARD, BAIRD, BEARD Y DNA Surname Project. We hope to
attract other male BARD, BAIRD, and BEARD participants who are similarly
interested in this project. Project goals often involve data found in
The Bard Family by G.O. Seilhamer. Potential goals for this project are
to determine affiliations:
1. Between BARD family lines and other early American family lines.
2. Between various lines of Archibald BEARD (BARD) the immigrant
ancestor of the Western Pennsylvania BARD line.
3. Between various lines of Archibald BEARD (BARD) & other lines in
Ireland & in other areas from ancient times such as the Aosta Valley.
4. Between African American and other family lines that have
undocumented oral traditions of connections with the BARD family.
5. Between previously hypothesized affiliations (such as MacInward) and
the various BARD family lines.
