If anyone wants to know how grotesquely people have been insulting and personally abusive on those rootsweb lists (which I shall leave un-named) about DNA, let me know and I'll give you some quotes. They are unimaginable.

Barb By, we just can't change science around to suit those folks who would prefer that the sun revolve around the earth. People who can't accept DNA should stay away from it and we all need to respect their choice to do that, BUT does that mean the rest of us have to suffer because of it? I hope not! Why should we have to stay away from it too? Is it ok to be fair to one group but not the other? I hope Ancestry/Rootsweb can be intelligent enough to realize this IS a part of real genealogy and will only become more so in the future - and instruct those list owners that DNA is an allowed subject. But I won't hold my breath on that.

I'm not sure if this will help....but it isn't always not believing in DNA,
etc. This is new ground for so many people....and as I said once before, there
ARE religious groups that do not buy into this "type" of research (or even
genealogy, for that matter). So, these things do happen, and somehow we want to
respect their wishes...and carry on with what we believe will help people on
this earth!!
Regards to everyone!!!
Happy researching!!
