That is not entirely true. My Uncle's Haplogroup Test
came back "Your mathces suggest that you belong to
Haplogroup R1A. You may confirm that by ording a Y-DNA
SNP test for the R1A clade or Haplogroup."

Both my uncle and I had the mtDNA test done, since I
was adopted and he's a birth relative, I wanted to
make "sure" we really were related. The mtDNA has come
back for both of us as Haplogroup undetermined and
that they will do further testing until they assign us
a group.
