Here I am answering my own postings. The URL I gave you last time will get you there, but more direct is www.davidkfaux.org/dnaprofile2 .
Enjoy,

Hello Shane and others:
I think that my sleuthing may have paid off. I continue to find research papers the results of which when added to other findings are now starting to point in a direction I never suspected. Then I recalled that I have a 25/26 match with a fellow (with a different surname) whose ancestors are from Norfolk (as are mine - a couple of miles away at most), and before that Suffolk (as were mine), and his were from Jersey in the Channel Islands prior to that (supposedly coming to mainland Britain in the time of King John). My numbers are most similar to those from the Basques country (my haplotype and the percentages at each of 7 markers being the most common in these people). Considering the geography, I suspect that Brittany and Jersey are a probable homeland. This is all explained article by article on my website (I spend most of last night pouring over a key research paper) at www.davidkfaux.org/dnaprofile.html for those who wish to see if they can also make sense of thei!

numbers. It is only when able to compare directly all features of a Basques signature with that of a German signature that it is clear that the latter is very unlikely as the Faux homeland. Even with these discoveries the search continues until I have an answer that is overwhelmingly supported by the weight of evidence.

David,
Well, the search continues. Thanks for the effort. Guess we'll just have to
wait for more database participants and more R1b studies. I'm hoping my
relatively unique set of R1b numbers will help separate me from the crowd.
