Hello David,
No I'm certainly not a mole but I do like to praise where praise is due. Kind of a custom from where I come from. And I'll certainly praise who I please. It's a gift that goes with great age and I'm as educated as any and many.
But could you in fact be working for FTDNA?? Therein lies a question.
I did a lil huntin' around I can't see you've had a good thing to say about any company APART from FTDNA.
Why would you suddenly pipe up and try and discredit one firm, which by your own admission you have only used the services of their free, open-to-all database, and try and convince everyone that by deleting their info from one database and move it to another database, that sounds like a clone anyway (I guess we are in the realms of biotechnology), would be better for genealogy?
As a non-FTDNA customer, they've never let me search their database. Why should they suddenly change ethics now?
They must give you a VERY big discount on your Faux surname study. And possibly your Williamson surname study. And maybe your Y Shetland project and possibly also your mtDNA Shetland Project.
So I can see that you are clearly not affilliated with FTDNA in any way!!!
Yours,
Paul
