At Ann's request, I am posting some brief information about the 12 additional markers that we added to our panel:

GATA H4 - Motif GATA - Information about this marker can be found at White P.S. et al. (1999)

DYS 456 - Motif TATC - Published out of the University of Arizona and more info can be found at Redd A.J. et al. (2002)

CDY - Motif AAAG and AAGG - Unpublished yet. Alan Redd, discoverer and has requested a DYS number for this marker, which has not yet been assigned. Until that time we are referring to them as CDY.

DYS 460 - Motif GATA - This locus was published by White at al. (1999) under the name Y-GATA-A7.1. We will use the name DYS 460 published by Bosch at al.(2002)

YCAII - Motif CA - Information about this marker can be found at Kayser M. et al. (1997)

DYS 438 - Motif TTTTC - Information about this marker can be found at Ayub Q. et al. (2000)

DYS 570 - Motif TTTC - Deposited in Genome database by Y-STR Group/Kayser M. et al., sequenced at the University of Arizona

DYS 576 - Motif AAAG - Deposited in Genome database by Y-STR Group/Kayser M. et al., sequenced at the University of Arizona

DYS 607 - Motif GAAG - Deposited in Genome database by Tamiya Gen, sequenced at the University of Arizona

DYS 442 - Motif TATC - Developed by a Japanese research group - Iida R. et al. (2001)
