Again, Dr. Faux, thank you for bringing some common sense into the
discussion on the Jewish element in Scotland. Being of partial Scots blood,
this is a topic of interest to me as I am a MacDonald on my father's side
and Sutherland on my mother's.

What I believe is really needed is a comprehensive scientific process,
culminating in the publication of a work, subject to the same stringent
standards of peer review as was Dr. Faux's book.

DNA studies have been done on both Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews, the
so-called "Melungeons," the Scots, Irish, and others. I await the
publication of a truly comprehensive work from a reliable scientific source
whose knowledge is based on objective analysis of the scientific evidence
and not in hope that a preconceived notion will be proven to be true.

Again, Dr. Faux, thank you for your comments on this subject.

Mary, the lady with the two cats

at some point of the Jewish faith and whose descendants carry the DNA
signature of those of Jewish origin). Gee, all of a sudden Christians are
one by one being unmasked as Jewish in disguise. At one time the team tried
(in a very gentle way) to convince me that the Fauxes and the Williamsons
were Sepahrdic..................

a best seller. People thrive on mysteries, contoversies, conspiracies,
stories of lost colonies, etc. This should send the naieve troops trundling
into the book stores to grab their copy hot off the presses.

opt for the one that will best ensure that history will be rewritten based
on his world view. A bit scary in that he apparently does not have to go
through the peer review process that the rest of us must face before our
publications see the light of day. The publisher of my 2002 book required
review and comment by three respected authorities in the field before they
would proceed to the final stages. Will DPY's publisher require this
process or just, tabloid style, publish the dog gone thing since it will
probably make mega bucks? If this publication is to have any legitimacy it
needs peer review..........period.
