Philippe, I match you individual 11/12. The only difference is in 389i. I match your value
at that marker. As far as I know I have no one in my tree names NITHART. Interesting!

Hello Phillipe:

I had the same situation with a Faux relative whose common ancestor with me was 350 years ago. He upgraded to 25 markers and the next set of 13 matched perfectly. My recommendation, both of you upgrade to a higher resolution level - it is the only to clarify the meaning of your present results.

Hello!
I just received results for me and another person with same family name
(same spelling 5/600 years ago):
393: 12 - 13
390: 24 - 24
19: 14 - 14
391: 11 - 12
385a: 11 - 11
385b: 14 - 13
426: 12 - 12
388: 12 - 12
439: 13 - 11
389.1: 12 - 13
393: 13 - 13
389.2: 28 - 29
Both are supposed to be R1b.

Since there are only 7 similar markers out of twelve , is the conclusion
that there are definitely no match or is it more subtle than that?

Is it worth further investigation in spite of the current discussion on
MRCA?

Sorry to bother the group with such basic questions, but, in spite of
reading all messages on this group and printing material, I feel ill at ease
with this very first handling! I guess that I will be Ok for the others,
after receiving your concrete help in layman's words if possible for this
initial one...
Just for information, my classic family tree goes back on paper to the
middle age in South Alsace, while the other name variants (or same
spellings) are located in nearby Switzerland & Germany and also Austria.
A very happy new year to all.
