Not if the database were "multiply keyed" by the three types of
DNA...NRY,mtDNA, DNAprint....

A person tested could add one, or all three DNA tests, to this list keyed by
each separate database field or item.....and search on one or more of the
keys at one time.......

This way one list could contain all three DNA types with one list to
maintain....
(1.) Haplogroup for NRY
(2.) Group U, X, H, V, T, K, J, etc for mtDNA with sub-keys for each of
these 7
(3.) DNAprint....I am at loss here except to key it by the oldest known
female ancestors name...?

Joyce, this came up several months ago and we, of course, discussed it to
death. All three tests involve DNA, so there is a lot of overlap in the
general principles. Many of us would subscribe to all three lists and would
no doubt get MORE mail than now. Some people would only subscribe to one
list and thus miss out on important information. And yes, the maintenance
would triple.
