Since I posted the link to this article to the list when it first came out,
I was quite aware of it. There is nothing in it that would support Peter's
contention that DNA could be used to reconstruct pedigrees. I suspect that
George Church, like many (most?) academics, considers genealogical testing to be a
frivolous use of DNA.
