I thought it best to answer this separately, as it is the nub of my future
research, and further SNP tests when they become available.

The Haplogroup I1a and I1b split (P38+(/M253+)/P30+/P37.2+; where
the + mark reads 'positve'.) probably happened at Dolni Vestonice,
Czech Republic, over a period of 20k years.

It seems likely that , M170positve, occurred 40k years ago, then with
periods
of about 10k years, the succeeding UEPs occurred up to M26+ and P40+ etc.

Please check out my rule of thumb probabilities from the McDonald Institute
Monograph publication.

Best wishes, Alan.
