My son works in this building (which seems huge to me.) His comment when I
asked him if it was close was:

"Yup. Very close. Kind of a small room for someone that might attract more
than just the immediate science nerds."

If you are going, go early to get a seat:)

I caught this notice by chance when visiting the Oxford Ancestors site
today:

"Professor Bryan Sykes is giving a public talk and book signing on Monday
May
3rd at 7.00pm at the Health and Sciences Building, 1959 NE Pacific Street,
Room K-069, Seattle WA 98195."

This may or may not be the start of a book tour for "Adam's Curse." I
checked
the publishers website, but I didn't spot any notice about a schedule.

I know Orin lives in Seattle -- if he's interested in going, maybe he could
report back to the group (or maybe even ask Sykes a question or two on our
behalf).
