Hi all,
I received my MtDNA results and need help on understanding the results.
HVR1 Haplogroup U5b
HVR1 Mutations 16189C
16270T
HVR2 Mutations 73G
150T
152C
200G
263G
309.1C
315.1C
I have always been told that I have native American blood, Cherokee, on my maternal side of the family. The low resolution matches (HVR1) are: Belarus, Finland, Germany, unknown orgin, and poland. There were no high resolution matches. Do I need to order another test to determine the unknown orgin?
