Shalom,
My brother's Dna was recently tested. We were surprised to learn that he
is a I1b and probably
(according to some experts) descended from a Spainish Jew. His closest
matches were in
Sardinia and San Paulo. Our surname is Michael and our original ancestor was
from Germany
He imigrated to York co Penn. and then to North Carolina. The family were
first known to be
Lutheran and then Methodist. My brother said he is often asked if he is
Jewish, but had no
reason to think that we had Jewish background until now. If you would like
to know his dna
results I will give you the links to his report.
Let me know what you think. Thanks Jackie
