Actually Janet, I would suggest that you look up a little bit about the individuals involved in the firm you employed and come to your own conclusions as to whether they may hold controversial notions about the role certain groups played in the settling of the Appalachian Mountains. I have been threatened with legal action if I speak on this subject, so in this land where free speech is held sacred you will need to seek the guidence of others. I do, however, feel comfortable in suggesting that you may wish to ask them what evidence they are using to support the conclusions in the report.

David,
Oh I hope I haven't been led astray. My information came from a report done
by DNA consulting.
I haven't made any of these deductions myself. Oh by the way , I do not have
any genealogical
data to support this quite the opposite. My research goes back to Germany
although I know
the surname Michael can be Jewish.
