David and Listers,
I know that FTDNA has a special request posted for all the folks in their
data base who are AMH R1b to please consider upgrading to more markers. I sent
in money for the ones in our project ( Caldwell, Yates, Ramey, Saylor and
Harry) to be upgraded to see if they all match one another (at 25 markers), but
the real key is what other AMH people they will also match at this higher
level. Perhaps if every one with AMH donors in their study groups would encourage
them to upgrade, we would really make some fast progress. Especially because
several of the large sample study groups include the British Isles, Spain,
Portugal, Mexico, Puerto Rico, etc. Beth
