The tribals of S. India (and throughout S. Asia) are to some degree or another Australoid, or proto-Australoid. There are people like this in S. Arabia/Yemen as well.

Aren't the natives of India Caucasians? I remember learning in school that
the Indians in southern India were much "darker" than those in northern
India as protection from the sun.
