Gordon, thanks. I did some fiddling with Doug MacDonald's mutation rate
work from Sorenson's site and posted it, along with his original messages on
our "Helpful Tools" page http://worldfamilies.net/helpful_tools.htm

I am constantly watching the list for those items that seem to be worthy of
capturing as Reference Material. If you (or any List Reader) spots
something that you would like to be able to refer to on a regular basis and
share with other Surname Coordinators, let me know and I'll add it to the
listings.

Reference Materials are on these pages:

Helpful Tools http://worldfamilies.net/helpful_tools.htm

Y-Haplogroups http://worldfamilies.net/y-haplogroups.htm

mtDNA http://worldfamilies.net/mtDNA.htm

Subject: Re: [DNA] I1a and Distribution of DYS Values

Recent discussions about the frequency of various repeat values at the
different DYS loci for the I1a haplogroup prompts me to attempt to post the
following to the list again. I have attempted to post this to the list
twice before in the past couple weeks and in neither case has it gone
through, nor does it appear in the archives.
